                                                                                Services

Sunday worship services are held in the sanctuary from 10:00 am until about 11:00 am each Sunday.  We invite all who are moved by the Holy Spirit toward the only true salvation who is Jesus Christ to come and receive His good gifts and respond in prayer, thanks and praise for what He has done for us.  Holy Communion is served each Sunday with rare exceptions.  Please read about receiving Holy Communion under "The Lord's Supper" and call or meet with Pastor Fair (386) 755-4299.  Following our service we also have coffee, snacks and cold drinks in our Fellowship Hall and Adult Bible study begins approximately 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.

Christ Centered Worship – Christ is Lord of All!

The Lutheran Worship service is Christocentric – it is about our Lord, Jesus Christ, and follows His commands and teachings.  Our service begins by cleansing ourselves to be in the Lord’s presence with confession and absolution (John 20:22-23).  We continue with readings from His inerrant Scriptures and re-affirming the one-true faith (reciting one of the three Ecumenical Creeds - Galatians 1:6-8).  We hear his truth proclaimed for our salvation through the forgiveness of sins (the sermon - Luke 8:11), and finally enjoin with  Jesus Christ through participation in Holy Communion.  Here Jesus physically enters us and we physically reside in Him, through Jesus Christ (John 17:22-23).  Our service focuses on these good and life-giving gifts that God gives to us (the cleansing of our sins, the proclamation of the truth of the Gospel victory of Jesus Christ, and finally our becoming one with Jesus Christ and His whole Church through Holy Communion).  We respond to these good gifts with thanks and praise, in prayer and in song, for what He has done for us.
