Saved By Faith Alone,

In Christ Alone

The BIBLE is the true, inerrant, and complete word of God, and that it is the rule and norm of our lives. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away” and “Be on guard, I have told you all things beforehand.”

That salvation is a gift from God in Jesus Christ. Men cannot earn this salvation nor is there anything we can do to make ourselves worthy of it. It is by God's own fatherly mercy and love that he has given us the gift of His only Son, Jesus Christ, for our salvation. Salvation is 100% a work of God in Jesus Christ.

That no man can nor would by his own reason or strength come to our Savior, but that God has empowered this work by His Holy Spirit to bring men to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enlightens us and sanctifies us in this one true faith: Salvation is by grace (a gift), acquired through faith alone (the faith the Holy Spirit builds in men), in Christ alone (there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved).

We confess the 3 Ecumenical Creeds which have united the Church through the ages and have answered various errors which still cause men to stumble and fall from the one true faith.

We believe, teach, and confess that this one true faith is recorded in the expositions of the Unaltered Lutheran Confessions because these Confessions are in accord with the Word of God. We are part of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod and walk in this common orthodox confession and faith with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
